Terms of Service

These terms are the agreement between you and Gig Fling when you use the site. By creating an account or adding a band, you agree to them. Gig Fling is a free tool built to help grassroots bands put on their own shows.

Using Gig Fling

Anyone can sign in to browse and use the free planning tools. Putting a band on the platform is invite-only while we get set up, and each band is checked by a person before it appears. You are responsible for the information on your band profile and your gigs: keep it accurate, only use content you have the right to share (such as your band's photo), and do not impersonate another act. You are also responsible for keeping your login secure.

Your content

When you add a band — its name, photos, genres, links and the other details on its profile — you give us permission to display that content to other users as part of running the platform, such as on the discovery deck and on gig pages. This permission also extends to anyone who later runs Gig Fling in our place (see "Transfer of these terms" below). You keep ownership of your content; this permission is only what we need to show it. You can ask us to remove it at any time by emailing support@gigfling.com, and we will.

The service is provided as it is

We work to keep Gig Fling useful and available, but we provide it "as is", without guarantees that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. The cost figures, venue details and event listings are drawn from public sources to help you plan, and can be out of date — always confirm the final numbers with the venue before you commit.

Transfer of these terms

We may transfer these terms, and our rights and obligations under them, to another organisation — for example if Gig Fling is acquired by or merged with someone else. Your rights under these terms are not affected by such a transfer. You may not transfer your account or your rights under these terms to someone else without our permission.
